If you have a troubleshooting issue you’d like immediate support on, please give us a call at 1-833-DIG-DMOS or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We often help our customers reassemble shafts, find pins that may have gotten stuck in a shaft, or collapse the shaft in the stored position.
However, sometimes there IS an issue that isn't immediately resolvable and may have to do with deficiencies in material, workmanship or manufacturing defects. Please take a photo of your shovel, describe the defect as you see it and email us. Your shovel will be examined by our team and deficient products will be replaced or repaired at no cost to the original purchaser.
DMOS warrants its products to the original purchaser for its intended use against deficiencies in material, workmanship or manufacturing defects for 1 year and applies only to the original owner. This Warranty does not cover products that are improperly used, abused, altered, or repaired or components that wear over time such as pins or worn blade teeth. Common sense dictates that if you drop your DMOS from a plane or use it as a pry bar and not as its intended use as a shovel, that is not covered as a warranty of manufacturing defects. Naturally, DMOS products will wear with use over time, and normal wear and tear is not warrantied (e.g. scratched, scraped or chipped paint or decals, wearing down or dulling of shovel teeth, etc.)
In order for your warranty claim to be approved, the following conditions must be met:
- You must contact our customer service department (email email@example.com) and secure an RMA number.
- To get an RMA number, you need to provide proof of purchase.
- You must have purchased the product from DMOS or a DMOS-authorized dealer;
- You must return the product to DMOS; and
- You must have used the product only as intended and in accordance with the product’s instructions.
If a defect occurs during 1 year post purchase, and you satisfy the warranty conditions outlined above, we will, at our sole discretion, either repair or replace the defective product or part at no cost to you, the original purchaser.
We will make every effort to replace limited edition or discontinued products but cannot guarantee their availability for replacement. Any limited edition or discontinued product still under warranty that cannot be replaced with an identical product will be replaced with an equivalent model based on availability. We may make changes to products and designs in the time you purchased your product and submitted a warranty claim. Products repaired or replaced under this warranty may or may not incorporate these changes.
The warranty does not cover: (a) defects caused by third-party: (i) modifications, (ii) repairs, or (iii) replacement parts; (b) normal wear and tear; or (c) the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use (d) abuse and misuse of product.
