We’re confident you’ll love your DMOS tools and accessories, but, if for some reason you are not completely satisfied, we will accept your DMOS product back with NO QUESTIONS ASKED, so long as you do so within 30 days of purchase and can provide proof of purchase from us or a DMOS-authorized reseller.  

Note that DMOS products are meant to be put to work and will naturally wear with use over time. Normal wear and tear such as scratched, scraped, or chipped paint or decals, or wearing down or dulling of shovel teeth is to be expected with use. We hope your DMOS wears its scars with pride.

If you are returning product under the 30-day Money Back Guarantee program, the cost of shipping will be automatically deducted from your refund. Please make sure to pack the product(s) carefully, as you will be responsible for any damage resulting from improper packaging.

DMOS strives to design, engineer, validate and fabricate the best products. We subject our tools to significant field testing, the likes of which most tools will never see. We use the best materials and processes to produce parts proudly made in the USA. Furthermore, we take no shortcuts because we believe that when you’re “out there,” our products need to provide the dependability and strength to meet your demands.

If you have a troubleshooting issue you’d like immediate support on, please give us a call a 1-833-DIG-DMOS or email customerservice@dmoscollective.com. We often help our customers reassemble shafts, find pins that may have gotten stuck in a shaft, or collapse the shaft in the stored position.

However, sometimes there IS an issue that isn't immediately resolvable and may have to do with deficiencies in material, workmanship or manufacturing defects.  

How to Initiate a Warranty Claim

We’re going to need a bit more information from you on this as your experience is part of our quality management process. Please take a photo of your shovel, describe the defect as you see it and email warranty@dmoscollective.com.  

Your shovel will be examined by our team and deficient products will be replaced or repaired at no cost to the original purchaser.  

Details of our Limited Lifetime Warranty

DMOS warrants its products to the original purchaser for its intended use against deficiencies in material, workmanship or manufacturing defects. This Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover products that are improperly used, abused, altered, or repaired. Common sense dictates that if you drop your DMOS from a plane or use it as a pry bar and not as its intended use as a shovel, that is not covered as a warranty of manufacturing defects. Deficient products will be replaced or repaired. Naturally, DMOS products will wear with use over time, and normal wear and tear is not warrantied (e.g. scratched, scraped or chipped paint or decals, wearing down or dulling of shovel teeth, etc.) Components covered under warranty indefinitely include: pins, connectors, handles, and mounting hardware. If there is a failure in any component listed, we will replace them at no cost as long as the components are not discontinued and are in stock.  

In order for your warranty claim to be approved, the following conditions must be met:

  • You must contact our customer service department (email warranty@dmoscollective.com) and complete the necessary steps of our warranty process;
  • You must have purchased the product from DMOS or a DMOS-authorized dealer;
  • You must provide proof as to the date of your purchase;
  • You must return the product to DMOS; and
  • You must have used the product only as intended and in accordance with the product’s instructions.

 

If a defect occurs during the life of the product and you satisfy the warranty conditions outlined above, we will, at our sole discretion, either repair or replace the defective product or part at no cost to you, the original purchaser.

We will make every effort to replace limited edition or discontinued products but cannot guarantee their availability for replacement. Any limited edition or discontinued product still under warranty that cannot be replaced with an identical product will be replaced with an equivalent model based on availability. We may make changes to products and designs in the time you purchased your product and submitted a warranty claim. Products repaired or replaced under this warranty may or may not incorporate these changes.

The warranty does not cover: (a) defects caused by third-party: (i) modifications, (ii) repairs, or (iii) replacement parts; (b) normal wear and tear; or (c) the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use (d) abuse and misuse of product.

Money-Back Guarantee and Returns

  • Contact customerservice@dmoscollective.com if you wish to return your product. We will issue you a RMA and a shipping label.  
  • Carefully pack your product in your original box to ship it back to us and include the RMA form we provide.  
  • Products shipped without their original box will be subject to a re-stocking fee of $25.
  • Once we receive your product, we will issue you a refund less the cost of shipping.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, WHETHER FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER TORT, OR ANY STRICT LIABILITY THEORY, WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, FOR BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE. OUR LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY WILL NOT EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from State to State.

This limited warranty is only available in the United States and Canada. No DMOS reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.
